President Obama to Visit Everett, Bellevue on Friday

He will tour the Boeing plant in Everett and talk about the importance of domestic manufacturing and American exports.

President Barack Obama will visit Boeing in Everett during his visit to Puget Sound on Friday.

It's the first time in 19 years that a president has visited Snohomish County, according to the Herald. President Bill Clinton stopped in Everett in 1993.

The White House says Obama will talk about the importance of domestic manufacturing and American exports at Boeing after flying in to Paine Field.

That same day, Obama is scheduled to host a pair of private fundraisers in Medina and Bellevue, according to his campaing website.

The president is expected to return to Washington, D.C., on Friday.
