Primary Election is Tuesday: Where Do I Turn In My Ballot?

The King County Primary Election is Tuesday, Aug. 16. Don't forget to turn in your ballots and be counted.

Ballots are due to the county or need to be postmarked by Aug. 16. There is a ballot drop box at in the circular drive outside the main entrance. That drop box will be closed after 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The major primary race for Redmond residents is for District 6 of the King County Council. That seat is currently occupied by Jane Hague, who has drawn three challengers. Follow the links below for each candidate's response to Patch's elections questionnaire.

King County has an all mail-in ballot, though voters with disabilities may vote in person at from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Accessible voting units offer lap paddles and sip-and-puff devices, as well as audio, and large and high-contrast text options. All voters may use the accessible voting centers, though identification and signature will be required to vote in person.
