Redmond Recreation Guide Will Be Online Only Starting Nov. 19

The city says the switch will cut down on printing and mailing costs while benefitting the environment.

The paper pamphlets that highlight upcoming classes and programs offered through the City of Redmond Parks and Recreation Department will soon be a thing of the past.

The city issued a news release Thursday saying the quarterly recreation guide will be available only online starting Nov. 19. A new version of the online guide with videos, photo slideshows and search capabilities will launch on that day for winter classes.

“This new version of the online guide will be interactive, informative, convenient, and easy to view,” Ryan Spencer, business office administrator with the city's recreation division, said in a news release. Registration for winter classes begins Dec. 4 for city residents and Dec. 11 for non-residents.
