Rep. Ross Hunter to Discuss State Budget at Redmond Chamber Luncheon

The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Matts' Rotisserie in Redmond Town Center.

State Rep. Ross Hunter (D-Medina) will give a presentation at the Greater Redmond Chamber of Commerce's monthly membership luncheon, set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Matts' Rotisserie.

Hunter, who represents part of Redmond in the 48th legislative district, is chairman of the ways and means committee in the state house of representatives. He is running for re-election this year against Republican challenger Bill Hirt.

The chamber discussion will cover the outcome of the 2012 state budget and specifically focus on transportation, economic development and education. (Click here to see a recap of Hunter's 2011 presentation to the chamber.)
