Road Closures Planned on 90th Street Bridge

The roadway will be closed for up to seven hours each day May 21-30 as crews replace the bridge's bearing pads. Detours will be in place.

Drivers who routinely travel the Northeast 90th Street Bridge might want to consider an alternate route between May 21 and 30, when construction crews plan to close the structure for up to seven hours each day.

The closures are expected to take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will enable crews to replace the structure's 22 bearing bads, which cushion and connect the bridge deck with its support abatement.

Detours including Redmond Way, Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 124th Street will be in place for drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians during the closures.
