Video Profiles of Redmond Candidates Now Available on City Website, TV Station

All seven city council and mayoral candidates are featured in five-minute videos.

Video profiles of Redmond's seven candidates for mayor and city council are now available on the city's website and Redmond City Television (RCTV).

In the five-minute videos, each candidate discusses his or her personal and professional background, reasons for running, and qualifications for office.

The videos are available on demand online and can also be viewed on RCTV at channels 21 and 75 for Comcast customers and channel 34 for Frontier customers (a complete RCTV schedule is available here).

Only two of Redmond's five municipal races are being contested this year. Joel Wright and city planning commissioner are vying for the council seat currently held by Richard Cole, who is retiring at the end of the year. is challenging incumbent council member for his seat.

Meanwhile, Mayor and incumbent city council members and are running unopposed.
