Waste Management issued a news release Friday afternoon saying it would pick up trash on Saturday in Redmond and other areas that normally receive Wednesday pickup.
Customers are allowed to double up on their loads and should leave carts out until 6 p.m., the company said. Garbage, recycling and yard waste will be collected.
Many households throughout the Puget Sound area missed their regular collections earlier this week during a . A new contract earlier this week.
