Winter is proverbially a slow season for real estate sales. Yet in this market, homes are selling briskly even when Christmas is just around the corner. The wave of strong demand is continuing and the local economic parameters are a solid endorser of the trend.
Many buyers this season have something special on their Santa list. Considering the tight availability of homes, they have to compete, which is a nice thing to have for the winter seller now.
It still takes a properly prepared , marketed and priced home. The cold, wind and rain, and of course the short days, limit the exposure of the home to the buyers, so it is more important to keep up with the appearances and make the home available for viewing.
A warm, well lit home, is a welcome contrast to the outdoors. When the home systems operate well and keep its inhabitants warm and comfy, the buyers get the benefit of seeing the home at its best.
Our homes mean much more to us this time of the year, more than merely a shelter. It is place where we celebrate with our families and make memories. Wishing everyone a place to call home!
