The Girl Scouts are working hard fundraising for their trip to AZ next Spring where they will tour the Southwest and bridge from Juniors to Cadette's at the Grand Canyon!
In addition, they will be touring:
*Tour Botanical Gardens –Phoenix
*Heard Museum-tour: largest collection of Indian arts and crafts
*horseback trail ride in Senora Deseret
*Rawhide Western ghost town, hayride, cowboy BBQ cookout, and country line dancing!
*private bus tour to the Grand Canyon!
*Montezuma Castle National Monument
*Sedona, and Slide Rock and picnic lunch
*GRAND CANYON: staying at Maswilk or Yavapai Lodge
*East Rim of the Grand Canyon bus tour
*Desert View Watchtower-bridging to Cadette's ceremony will take place here!
*historic Hubble Trading post on the Navajo Reservation
*Monument Valley and private sightseeing jeep tour-panoramic overlook of the towering buttes
*Wupatki National Monument and tour of ancient ruins of the first dwelling of Indians in AZ
*Sunset Crater National Monument: explore the lava flows!
*Riordan Mansion: First family of logging to the Flagstaff. This is also a council program for the GS council.
