HEIST: Who Stole the American Dream?” is the groundbreaking feature documentary about the roots of the American economic crisis and the continuing assault on working and middle class people in the U.S.

“HEIST” unflinchingly reveals the crumbling structure of the U.S. economy- the result of four decades of:

  • deregulation
  • massive job outsourcing
  • tax policies favoring mega-corporations & wealthy elites.

After detailing how the economy was derailed, “HEIST” offers a robust take action section with real world solutions.

You'll see footage from Wisconsin and the current Occupy Wall street movement – an essential primer for everyday Americans to participate in the restoration of economic fairness and our democracy.

“There are only two kinds of power in America:    organized money and organized people.”

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
