Discover the story of a man who changed the world 1,400 years ago and now lives through the lives of Muslims around the world. The event features "Muhammad: legacy of a prophet", a PBS documentary that takes you not only to ancient Middle Eastern sites where Muhammad's story unfolds, but into the homes, mosques and workplaces of some of America's Muslims to discover the many ways in which they follow Muhammad's example. Documentary features Karen Armstrong. Admission is free and there will be optional dinner for $5

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
