The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced on May 8 that five Lake Washington School District students will receive National Merit $2500 Scholarships:
- Priya Ganesan, International Community School
- Meg L. Holtzinger, Redmond High School
- Amanda Lin, International Community School
- Arthi K. Narayanan, Redmond High School
- Smrithi Sukumar, International Community School
