Redmond High School officials said Tuesday they've hired Jason Rimkus as the new head football coach.

Rimkus comes to Redmond High School after serving as head coach at Interlake High School for the past three seasons.

"We are excited to be bringing in a coach with head coaching experience within the KingCo Conference," said John Appelgate, Redmond High School's director of athletics. "Coach Rimkus has done an outstanding job at Interlake and we look forward to his knowledge, energy and enthusiasm in continuing the upward path of the RHS football program."
