'Kids Can Cook' Event Returns to Redmond Junior High Next Week

Students from the Lake Washington School District will be preparing healthy foods at a cooking competition next week.

Move over, Iron Chef. 

Twenty fourth- and fifth-graders from the  will be putting their culinary skills to the test April 11 in the fifth-annual Kids Can Cook competition at . 

The students will be preparing health-conscious, kid-friendly foods that will be evaluated by a team of judges. Guests will also be invited to sample the cuisine and vote for their favorite dishes.

The event takes place next Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. Redmond Junior High is located at 10055 166th Ave. NE in Redmond.
