Perfect Game Propels Mustang Baseball to 10th-Straight Win

The team is looking for its 11th consecutive victory tonight at Hartman Park.

A perfectly pitched game led the baseball team to its 10th consecutive victory on Thursday against the Eastlake Wolves.

Senior Peter Hendron was unstoppable on the mound, striking out 10 batters and generating five groundouts and six flyouts. He retired 21 Eastlake batters in 96 pitches during seven innings of pitching.

The game was tied at 0-0 until the top of the seventh inning, when a team effort of two singles, a stolen base and two walked batters gave the Mustangs the winning run.
