Redmond Baseball Headed to Playoffs after 11th-Consecutive Win

The Mustangs were down 8-0 after the first inning but came back for a 12-8 victory over Skyline Monday at Hartman Park.

The baseball team recovered from an early 8-0 deficit Monday to bounce back and defeat the Skyline Spartans 12-8 at .

The win is the Mustangs' 11th-straight victory and secures a playoff berth for the team.

Redmond's offensive effort was led by sophomore Brandon Burditt, who hit a two-run double in the third inning. Seven of the nine Mustangs who had at-bats in the game scored runs, according to statistics from maxpreps.com.

The Mustangs will next face Newport at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hartman Park. This will be the last home game for the team's graduating seniors.
