Redmond Students Compete at International DECA Conference

Two RHS students were sub-category winners at the event, which included more than 15,000 students.

Seventeen students competed at the DECA International Conference in Orlando, Fla., earlier this spring after having qualified at a state competition in March.

More than 15,000 students representing 50 states plus Guam, Ontario, Mexico, Germany and other countries competed in more than 50 career pathway contests at the conference.

From Redmond High School, Erin Windham and Logan Dougherty were sub-category winners in role play in Sports & Entertainment Marketing Team Decision Making.

Maddie Harrison also took 11th place in the Apparel & Accessories category, and the RHS student store was re-certified at the gold level.
