The Grizzlies took down Colfax 54-43 in a consolation bracket game on Saturday.
boys' basketball team finished the 2010-2011 season Saturday with a 54-43 win over Colfax at the 2B state playoffs in Spokane. The victory secured the team a third-place finish in the tournament.
The Grizzlies were sent to the consolation game after falling to Napavine 53-39 in Friday's semi-final round.
On Friday, the team struggled out of the gates, falling in a 19-7 hole a minute and a half into the second quarter. The Grizzlies made one final run at Napavine in the fourth quarter, cutting the Tigers' lead to eight on a three pointer from Luke Blankenbeckler with four and a half minutes remaining in the game.

The team was led by 11 points from Lucas Petersen and eight from Luke Blankenbeckler.
