Girls' Lacrosse: Two Redmond Students Selected to Play in National Tournament

Claire Monsaas and Kate Wagner will represent Washington state in New York.

students Claire Monsaas and Kate Wagner have been selected to play in the US Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament, May 28 and 29 at Stony Brook University in New York.

The two sophomore midfielders, who play for the Lake Sammamish Girls High School Lacrosse Club, were selected by the Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association to represent the Washington state team.

The Women’s Division National Tournament will feature 60 teams from across the country, competing in freshman, sophomore and junior divisions. The two-day event is billed as a national recruiting opportunity.

Overall, 21 players from Washington state were selected to play in the tournament. Below is a complete list of the players selected.
