Redmond Woman Among Top Finishers at 2012 Boston Marathon

Four Redmond residents were among thousands who completed the 26.2-mile race Monday morning.

Redmond resident Sheila Croft was one of the top finishers in Monday's 2012 Boston Marathon, earning 13th place out of more than 11,000 female runners who participated in the race.

Croft's finishing time Monday was 2:48:31, giving her an overall place of 186 out of 26,656 runners.

Thirty-seven-year-old Croft, who was , is a triathlete who competed in the Iron Man last October and won the women's Seattle Rock and Roll Marathon last June, along with the women's  last month.

But Croft was not the first Redmond resident to cross the finish line in Boston this morning. Thirty-five-year-old Gabriel Kliot placed 91st overall and 82nd among male racers with a time of 2:40:55. David Cull and Anthony Tang were the two other Redmond roadies to complete the marathon.
