Woodinville Lavender Now Open to the Public

The family-based business has opened its on-site shop to the public, just in time to see the fields start to bloom.

, set on three acres off Woodinville-Redmond Road, is now open daily to the public.

, owners Tom and Brenda Frei opened an on-site shop last weekend to sell fresh-cut bundles of lavender, and sachets and other items made from dried lavender. The product line includes lotions, bath salts, oils and soaps. The couple opened up shop last weekend.

“We had such a fun opening weekend with visitors from around the Seattle area, Kentucky, Louisiana, Hawaii and Arizona. All were happy to have visited the farm and (were) clearly lavender lovers,” they wrote to Patch. “Our store is stocked and our early season crop of Folgate is in bloom and looking beautiful.”

Currently the farm has more than 1,000 lavender plants and 25 different varieties; from mid-June to September the fields are in full bloom.

The farm is open every day, from noon to 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday–Sunday at 14223 Woodinville-Redmond Road NE. Check out Woodinville Lavendar's Facebook page for more details.
