Potato Harvest with Holy Cross & Scout Pack 591

Rain or Shine, Cub Scout Pack 591 & Holy Cross Church are planning to harvest twenty to thirty thousand pounds of potatoes valued at $30,000 to $45,000 dollars, for Puget Sound foodbanks.  Foodbanks are scheduled to send trucks to the Clean Greens Farm in Duvall to pick up.  Volunteers have been tending the crop all summer.  Mechanical equipment is scheduled to do the heavy lifting. 

And there will be many loose spuds to hand gather as well.  Perfect fun for all ages, even very young children.  And all who volunteer will go home with an abundance of fresh produce.  There may even be a ripe pumpkin or two available.
