First Baptist Church of Redmond

Established in 1957, the First Baptist Church of Redmond is located right across the street from the Assembly of God church, at the corner of 95th Street and 166th Avenue. The building has a graceful entrance area with landscaping and large, welcoming doors, and the large lawn features a fire pit with permanant benches, a basketball court and a children's play area. The congregation, which is affiliated with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches, follows core beliefs of rebirth through baptism, acknowledgment of sin and faith in Jesus. Pastor Doug Johnston and his family have been leading the First Baptist Church of Redmond since 2000. They live on-site and participate in the church's wide range of weekly and special events, including Bible Study, Youth Group and AWANA for kindergardeners through 6th graders.
