Ken is a managing broker/owner of his own real estate firm Ken Campbell Real Estate LLC. He looks to assist others in the real estate, environmental and energy fields.
Ken gives a strong voice to both businesses and citizens, focusing on public safety, urban development, and the environment, with openness and accountability. Ken Campbell has 40 years of management experience with pulp and paper companies Boise Cascade and Abitibi Consolidated. With multi-million dollar annual budgets, responsibility included product development, environment, energy, cost reduction, capital improvements, supervision of employees, contractors and consultants, and compliance with government regulations. Ken was  a critical liaison between his company and Steilacoom, Pierce County, Lakewood, Department of Ecology, Puget Sound Clean Air Agency, and local community groups. Ken learned the principle of stewardship on the family farm. He achieved national awards in 4-H.  Ken earned a BSc (Chemistry) degree from the University of Manitoba 1969. Emigrating from Canada in 1976, Ken and his wife, Colleen soon made University Place home. They became US citizens in 2006.
