From Washington, D.C. to Washington state, I have been writing features since 2008. My articles have appeared in USA WEEKEND and Teacher Magazine. I hold a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Maryland.

While interning at USA WEEKEND, I wrote columns on green living, including a piece on home solar panels that featured advice from actor and environmentalist Ed Begley Jr.

My fiancé and I moved to Bellevue in July 2010. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking (and eating), planning our summer wedding, and exploring all of the new and interesting places around my new home.
